Luton Hoo 'Classic In The Walled Garden'

Some pics from last Weds' annual meet at Luton Hoo Estate (posh bit of Luton
)
Forecast wasn't great so it wasn't as well attended as usual but still a good mix, tho not as many 'Yanks' as usual
Had a good chat with Bernie Chodosh (of Bernie's V8's 'fame') as we went to school near where he used to live in Edgware and he loves being reminded that we used to see his Corvette in his front garden when we were walking home from school... We're only about 9 years younger but I think he'd rather not be reminded
He was there in his road/race DB5... as you do
Also had a chat with the owner of the green 1952 Bristol who was more than happy to show us round it as we seemed to be showing an interest! He's owned it since 1962 and is also a member of the Bentley Drivers Club. He reckons he's one of the last people still around that knew WO himself!
Loved the genuine patina of the leather interior
