Slowly catching up, in this busy 'show season'... :runaway!:

This year was the 30th anniversary of this mid-week, afternoon-to-evening show, and around 900 cars attended. I've seen it busier but the forecast wasn't that great, but plenty to see for us, arriving around 5pm.

Two of the Mopars in attendance are owned by local businessman Mark Jackson, who's owned the ex-Stuart Keen 69 hemi Super Bee for a few years now, plus the red 70 Challenger. In fact he owns all the cars in that row with 'MJ' registrations, plus the 2x army vehicles and the Harleys. Got knows how he gets them all there... =D>

That particular car is one owner from new iirc. He used to subconsciously polish the passenger A pillar so much he wore away the lacquer!

Thanks for posting - a Grifo and a Lele together - worth the visit on their own!

Took me ages to work out whats wrong with that prowler. Its the front lights right ? The bar ones are gone and it has 'beach buggy' ones instead ? Or is it not a prowler, is it a kit ?

Edit - just worked it out. The lights were on the edges of the bonnet. I am guessing the law over here made them change it.

Good spot, Morgan. Yes they would have been built into the bodywork, either side of the grille, as you say. Dont think I've seen any others modified like this so I doubt it's a UK regulation thing.
There was another Prowler at Rally Of The Giants too, last Sunday, which I post pics of as soon as I can. I'll check that one when I get a chance... got me wondering now... :-k :D

Original lights do look a bit odd, tbh, but I dont know why you'd change them for those frog eyes :-k #-o
