Well, we came, we saw, we broke.

We fixed, we ran, we PB’d!

We drank, we made merry, we wore stupid hats, we went to bed happy.

We got called for qualifying, we got chucked out for not wearing the correct suit, my good lady wife ran the length of the track twice to grab a loaner.

We lost gears, we ran slowly, we scratched our heads.

We ran slowly again, we fettled, we lost all gears and drive.

Mr P offered calming words and sage advice and help.

We missed qualifying, we threw our toys out of the pram, we went for a walk to clear heads.

We fell down a pothole, we went in an ambulance, we ended up on crutches. We said a lot of naughty words…

We won a medal for being most rubbish!

We got fixed by some legendary friends, Dunc & Pete got it fixed enough to get home. We lay on the floor cleaning bolts. We got a lift to the bar (Cheers Dave81!)

Awesome people in NSS, so many people mucked in to help, you’re all legends. Cheers everyone.

Hobbled round the show and shine, sat and drank with friends.

Same time again next year?

I wasn’t laughing at the time, but on reflection, it was a great laugh really. Gutted about not getting to qualify, but the people and the beers made it anyway.

I’ll sort a proper report in short order, I’d forgotten about the Friday water jacket fun!

What’s the scene like over ther? Are you still cruising or racing in Oz? Would be cool to see some pics from some down under shows.

If it was Saturday, I’d have crawled off the line in 2nd gear. Tried twice before losing all drive and retiring the car.
