Ok, I give up. What’s the magic method to removing the springs from hood hinges?

Tried everything, not winning…

Be sure the springs you have are for the glass hood and not a metal hood. Different tensions , same for AAR cuda. A spring for a metal hood used on a glass one can damage the fibreglass. Someone tell me if I'm waffling crap.

You’re absolutely bang on, that’s correct.

That’s why I’m trying to get the old springs off, so I can put the lower tension ones off. Just can’t find a way to pull the old apart hard enough to get the damn things off!
