Servo vacuum hose - is fuel hose ok?

As per title, need to replace the vac hose currently fitted between servo & manifold. Existing hasn’t got any markings on it (apart from ‘2013’) but does look remarkably similar to the new 3/8 fuel hose I bought that says ‘SAE30R14T1’.
Googling that doesn’t say either way.
Both old vac & new fuel have the fabric reinforcement in the middle of the wall.
Is the fuel hose ok?
Ta Stuart.

It may be OK, make sure it’s not too soft, that it wants to collapse. As you have some already, it’s not a big deal to try it & keep an eye out for signs of collapsing. In the interim look to get proper vacuum hose

Thanks Mark. I did see some hose listed on eBay as ‘vacuum hose’ but in the description it said suitable for fuel and only listed positive pressure values. I’ve got time to find the right stuff so probably worth it as you say.

I got some 10mm ID (3/8”) from the local motor factors. They called it servo hose, which comes in bigger bores. Apparently.

Looks like fuel hose though 😀

Thanks for the input.

i've used 10mm/3/8" fuel hose (for fuel or vacuum) for donkey's years, strange they think it's a bigger size. i used 1/2" aluminium hard line and rubber hose for fuel on my anglia gasser in preparation for future engine upgrades, but i digress, lol.
neil.
