Thanks again to Derek for setting this up with Brooklands :salute:

As has already been said, it wasn't as packed as previous years but as we all know it only takes a bit of early morning drizzle to keep the lightweights away
Thankfully tho, it brightened up by about 10am and there was a steady coming and going of cars throughout the morning.

And we had the 'photoshoot on the banking' back again for the first time since, probably, pre-Covid :-k

Soon followed by the 'Top 5' which was just selected by a bunch of us as our favourite cars :D

Highlights for me were seeing Alan Letts' 69 Super Bee for the first time and of course Gavin Shaw's latest purchase - the ex-Hauser 71 six-pack Challenger. Dream Cars' Milton brought along a recently discovered 57 300C which could be yours for just £50k... :read2: :D

Anyhoo, some pics...

It came on a trailer with the red '64 300 all the way from Lakenheath (Suffolk).
The guy left the keys at home having loaded the trailer the night before. So had to hotwire it to move it around.
... the advantages of a mis-spent youth.
Sounded great with it's flathead V8.
