Custom & Classic Show June 22nd

During last weeks heat wave
, we went over to this little show, put on by the people who used to run 'Herts Auto Show' near Welwyn Garden City.
This year it was at the Royal Gunpowder Mills in Waltham Abbey, Essex. The commentator still called it the Herts Auto Show tho
I didn't realise we'd be driving round roads we used to, when we first got the Plymouth, 40 years ago, in 'Roughneck' territory
Roads once patrolled by the likes of Blue, Jason, Mark Richards etc...ah them were the days
Venue was ok tho - bit of congestion in and out, as seems to be the way these days for some reason, causing some cars to overheat. But not us thankfully - hopefully down to our recent measures taken to avoid just such an inconvenience
Usual mix of customs, classics, Yanks, Rods etc but thankfully none of the dross that used to attend the Herts Auto Show, ie modern not-very hot-hatches (Fiesta, Minis etc)...
