`69 Sport Satellite

Well, sorry for the delay guys. Finally I've got round to posting this up on the Car Show section.
Feast your eyes on this solid little treasure.
My`69 Sport Satellite. Not a RoadRunner I know, but my budget wouldn't allow me to spend all that extra money
.
(didn't really matter to me whether it was a belvedere or gtx, I just love the '69 shape )
Originally a 318 car, but now sits with a 383 nestled behind the grille, with a 727 on the column.
Still got the 2:73 rear end, so is great for the open road.
It arrived into Southampton mid November, and after towing it home (I was going to drive it home, but it has a "self setting alarm" on it, so it had a flat battery when it arrived.) I set about sorting out a few small things for the MoT. Lights etc.
I bought it from <A href="http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jbrimfield ... 20PDT).htm" target="http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jbrimfield ... 20PDT).htm"> Here </A href></A>
I'm abit gutted, coz after doing the changes to the brake lights etc my MoT guy questioned me asking... "These have the red indicators don't they?" - All that work for nothing. Guess who's going to be changing them back
The only change I've done to it is that I've bought the Purple RoadRunner Hood that Niall had for sale here a few weeks ago. I'm not going to make it into a RR clone, I just prefer this hood as it looks better.
I've taken off the Dog Dish Caps for now as I've repainted the wheels. Looks like an old NASCAR clonker now
I've sprayed up the underside to protect it for the winter months, and I'm just enjoying smokin' around in it in this condition for now until I can set about it around February time to restore it.
All it needs exterior wise is new lower rear quarters ( surprise surprise ) which are already on order
Back window has already been done at some point (poorly, but keeps out the wet) and the trunk floor is good and solid.
I've got most of the trim with it too. Just missing the lower chrome panels below the doors. I might come across them 1 day, but not too worried for now. I shall be keeping this little baby, so I've got plenty of time
ROLL ON FEBRUARY !!!!
Well.... what d'ya think?
You can see alot more pics on my website.
