A few more bits have been done on the car lately. The rear window is out as is the panel below it and waiting for the new one to go in. The rotten rear quarter has been replaced, my painter only used the bottom half of the new one and has made quite a nice join. The wings are off and stripped and ready for primer. The doors are stripped and the drivers one has had some metal work done but needs a tiny bit more.Since these photos were taken the inside of the boot has been treated and been sprayed with stone chip paint. Next job is to get the front screen out so my brother can start fabricating the metal needed on the a-post.

My painter keeps saying it will be done in about two months time. Theres a bit more bodywork to do but it should go fairly quick when he starts throwing paint at it. It would be nice to get it back about April time when the weather gets better

How's April 9th as a deadline for ya Dave?
Get it ready for Duxford, just down the road from you. That's what we're aimimg for....
