Anybody tell me where the outside anchor point is, for the rear belts,
i`ve had a quick look and found the inner one`s, i`m just fitting lap belt`s in the rear to match the fronts :?:

They’re in the side panels below the armrest, below the level of the rear seat; you’ll need to take out the seat to see them. If yours hasn’t got belts already, I guess there might not be a hole in the trim card, so you might need to remove the trim card to see the anchor point as well

Hi Si I did wonder if they were under there, mine`s had a full interior but none of the seat belts were replaced, is it a real pain to get the rear panels off :occasion5:

I’ve not done that yet, but I think it’s pretty straightforward (my front door cards came off no problem); remove the window winder and the armrest, then prize the cards off, you might have to remove the rear seat and backrest to do this??

Not familiar with Charger but,on the C body theres a rogue screw at the junction of the trim card, the rear window finisher and the the rear shelf card. Would break the trim if not undone, whole rear seat out on mine for this job,not long fitted all the belts.

Hi, it looks like the rear trim panel is in two half`s? i don`t know if they both have to come off, if the mounts are behind this surely i`ll need to drill through the panel, and place the metal bracket that the seat belt starts from on the front of the panel, would that mean i need some sort of spacer to stop me crushing the trim panel as i tighten the bolts  :banghead:

From memory, the bolt that secures the seat belt has a shoulder on it, so when the bolt is tight there’s still room for the trim card and to allow the belt bracket to rotate as required. I’ll try to take some pics for you tonight and/or check out my workshop manual see if there’s a useful diagram I could scan for you

On a charger the outer rear lap belts bolt in a hole near the wheel arch. Heres a photo from underneath as my seats are in the car, its the holes with the plates around them.

thanks for the pic`s and manual shot, should save a lot of time when i get in there on sat, the upper part of the rear seat doesn`t look like there`s a lot of room for the back piece to left up off it`s hooks, i am right in thinking that it goes up first then out :?:
