dont really want to use hemi orange, because im not confedent at spraying the clear coat, and dont wanna use metalic paint.

has anyone got a paint code for a coulor close to hemi orange?

chevy flame red is close but i dont know the code for it, has anyone?

if you have a sample any good paint supplier should be able to match it quite good

Yeah i know but the prob is i aint got a sample.

Renault Rouge 734

Mine is suppost to be the same as flame red. I will have a look for the code tomorrow. Mine is actually an opel colour.

Renault Rouge is good too, that is on willdatsuns old General. Mine was parked next to his at Brooklands last year and you could barely see the difference if any.

No it's not metallic a doesn't have any clear coat.
This is the code that Neil (another General owner ) gave me ICI-DH39.
When I went to a local paint supplier for an aerosol I had to cross referance it and it came under opel in the red section.

The aerosol is in the shed and its dark and spooky outside so I will have a look tomorrow.

The can I had made up has a code which is a little difficult to read but this is what it looks like to me ZIEGELROT OPE529 BN5315

This is suppost to be the same as ICI-DH39.

Cheers Matt, told my paint suplier that paint code and he can do it got him to mix me a litre just so i could have a sample as the car isnt quite ready for paint yet.

i owe you one mate, the worry of finding paint is no longer mine. :D

JUST COME OUT OF THE SHEXD HAD ONE TO MANY NEWQUEY BROWN. HAD 3 OF MY MATES ROUND TO FLET THE CAR DOWN SO SHOULD BE READY FOR PAINT SOON. OH GOD i write it in caps, oh well to late now.
