worth converting to RH thread wheel studs?

Well the sun is out so I dug the Fury out of the barn and tried on some new wheels I got for it. Then i remembered the LH side of the car has LH threads. I need to order a set of nuts for the new wheels.

Is it more expensive to get LH thread ones, and also is it worth just converting to RH thread studs, and if so where would be the place to get these? They are 1/2 unf same as Charger etc. Car has drum fronts if that makes a difference.

and by the way, do these wheels look good on here or what!

First thing I did with the Chally was change to RHT studs because I knew it would probably confuse me and there were a couple that were already sheared off due to confused US tyre monkeys.

But as I was buying loads of stuff from Year One at that time to replace all the missing bits on the car it was a simple matter to add a set of studs to the order.

Those wheels look spot on Will. Much better than the others. I would say go for it. :D

The front studs are swaged over onto the drums after installation through the hub and are extremely difficult to remove.

Much easier to get LH nuts . Raceways at Donington have a good selection including unilug etc

Agree......change to RH studs, only a matter of time before someone knackers the LH ones.

EDIT....did not read your cars has drums! From what Matt says maybe switching is not such a good idea with drums.

Or...get discs!
