Paint Help Please

I have today repainted the replacement door panels I got to replace the ones with dirty great speaker holes in the Cuda. I had the paint specially mixed locally to match the original colour and I must say its a very good match- although It has come out really shiny and glossy. Does anyone know how I can dull it down a bit so it looks more like the original plastic without having new paint mixed ( Im on my 3rd mix already and still not happy)
or am I peeing in the wind?
Cheers

You don't say what paint you are using, but a matt clear laquer should do it. Alternatively add a matting agent, though my success with this is limited.
I'm sure Ivor will be along soon to give far more helpful advice!

What sort of paint is it Mark?
Have you used standard refinish materials with a plastic primer or are you talking Vinylkote?

I primered It with some paint I had ordered from SEM - designed for use on plastic interiors. When it arrived it was not really the correct colour- so I decided (rightly or wrongly!) to use it as the primer.
Looking at the paint I had mixed locally It only has the following on the tin
Fiat TA17 40% PU MATT
Agriful Verde
EFT 52650
I mixed this with 2 Comp HS Thinners ICR1692
Plus ICA 690 Activator.
This is all the info I have to hand - although I could possible go back and ask them exactly the paint type etc
Thanks for the help

Just curious, but when you repaint the vinyl, do you some how strip the old paint off, or just paint on top? If so, how do you prepare the vinyl?
My door cards have been painted in the past, but they are so shiny, they gleam like a pair of my PVC boots.....

The original vinyl is not painted. It is produced in whatever colour it is in.
