Where do I get a pair of those rather sharp looking Bonnet Pins that a lot of you guys are sporting.?

The only ones I've managed to find a bit Leo Gemelli......Poor mans version. :?

Demon Tweeks used to have all sorts from small to very big, under their motorsport category.

Nice one. That made me laugh. Havent heard that name for a loing time (notice I said "heard" as I do not, and have at no time in the past been either owner or wearer of Leo Gamelli clothing)

Anyway, as Alex said. Year one do a very nice kit which includes everything you need including the posts, clinch pins, fixings, bonnet bezels and lanyards. MAke sure you choose the right length lanyard. They come in 18, 22 and 25 inches long (from memory). :)

Oh yes, I got the full "Leo" on the site!

I think you ought to get Marguerita Pracatan back on circuit to promote Leo Gemelli...priceless!

Back on thread for a mo, I bought the Mopar Performance hood pins, because my originals were knackered, and although they work well enough they look pants.

I'm hoping someone buys me the Year One versions for my birthday...which is on the 20th by the way ;)

From memory (hours of poring over a YO catalogue)
you need 26" ones.
I have naff stupid ones with a short lanyard which are the bane of my life, everytime I pop the bonnet up they scratch the paint and everytime I put it down I have to hold them to stop the m getting jammed. Wish the previous owner hadn't put them on.
26" ones will allow the lanyard to go down to the front and into the grill so they can be dropped out of the way....

Any clues as to how old you will be Ivor? Or shall we start a poll.

Had the first manned flight taken place? :D

Well Clivey I can tell you that I don't think even the dog or the monkey had gone into space...but I'm not as old as Dave Bishop!

Got your message Dave, we can sort your steering wheel ;)
