spent all day referbing my heater box with volvo insides in a tin shed sweating in the heat.

then around 7pm i came to fit it in the car and doh, it wont fit.

i new the car origionaly had air con, i thought a non air con would fit and just leave me with a few holes to cover on the bulkhead, but i was very wrong.

does anyone know if they is a way to get it to fit or would i be better off getting an ac heater?

Air con cars have a different heater box and ducting as well as a slightly different bulkhead as we found out recently.

why, did you have the same problem?

No mate. I removed all my AC and heater stuff and put them in the bin. they weigh a ton.

thats why i went for a non ac heater to keep the weight down

but really need a heater for road use as well.

should be able to make it fit with a little drilling.

see if clivey wants to swap! he's changing his charger to non ac!!!!!!!!!!!

I think im gunna keep the non ac box.

Sorry lads. Gave my AC heater unit to two lanes, and have just purchased an absolute tip top non-ac unit from a guy in Oregon.
