decoding a vin plate

can anyone help , a mate of mine has just got a dodge van to break , it is running a big block but we need to know what it is , none of my books seem to cover vans , the vin is 821BJ8K109835 , the log book sais 6600cc so possibly a 400ci . can anyone help.

Even with your sketchy description of said vehicle I have found the following in regard of Powerwagons. The 5th digit is engine and this would be a 400-1. I'd hazard a guess this would be the same for vans. Look here for some pointers;

Cheers kev , all points to a 400ci , so now the question is wot is a 400 + 727 worth , should i buy it
as a cheap spare
