Brake Servo Vacuum

Just checking my system for air leaks while I am testing the new carb.

I have a question, should I be able to continously suck on the vacuum hose going to the brake servo or should the servo be sealed and thus get difficult to suck on after a while ? (I blocked the vacuum hose going from the servo to the lights already)

I tried it on my Ram and I cant suck for more than a fraction of a second but on the Charger I can ?

Does that mean my brake servo is busted ?
Can't say I noticed any problems with the brakes....

Does anyone know how much effect this will have on my mixture ?

So many questions :)

A simple check would be leave the vacuum pipe atteached to the carb/intake and plug the other end if the engine rev drop down I would say that you have a dodgy servo you may have to increase the inital idle as the engine may stall if the rpm drops to low.if there is no change in the rpm when the pipe is plugged servo should be ok.
