I've got a silly Clive Sutton dealer plaque on the back of me Orvis
How do I remove this? Is it a case of heating it up with a hairdrier to loosen the glue? Are all the Grand Cherokee badges just stuck on and how easy would the paint buff to match in? It's black and '98. Ta!

Cheers mate! I was a bit worried as the plaque is below an Orvis badge.

Great advice. I shall remove my own 'Clive Sutton' badge in the same manner, but I am not wealthy enough to be concerned about the orvis bit! Wonder why he went bust, coz he sold at least 2 jeeps. Apparently he took all service records etc with him, so the present propreitor informs me.

Kev, the other thing to try is RS Components label remover it turns glue to mush you can remove the badge then clean off what is left with more label remover and meths. I can send you a can if you want one no charge.

Does that get sprayed behind the badge to get it off? I've got "sticky stuff" remover for whatevers left. Wouldn't mind a can though.

Kev you can use a SOFTIE Wheel and stick it in your drill and that will take off the residue without damaging the paint.
Get em from professional auto body shop suppliers.
this might be too late sorry
