Can anyone suggest a supplier of the rubber sealing ring/gasket that seals the sender unit to the fuel tank after you tap the locking ring into place ?
Anyone ever sourced one ?
Any advice much appreciated.
All the best

aaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhhhh bad memories mate!
My Sport Fury was wee-weeing fuel out of mine when I got it. And it was the devils own job to get one because none of the US Suppliers I tried were prepared to ship one to the UK (its a little rubber bit in a jiffy bag fer chrissake) but US Automotive got me one after initially saying they couldn't. Apparently all mopar tank sender seals are the same from like '64 through late 70s or maybe even later.
Part of my problem was I kept asking for Sport Fury part and Year One basically cut me off and said "no C bodies", even though its a universal fit part?

Another told me its still a Chrylser serviced part and to get it from my local Dodge dealer...
If I need one again I'll say its for a '69 Charger as I'd get one no problem then!
I think I might still have the part number somewhere. Some guy quoted me the number from original and Mopar changed the part numbers in the 80s or 90s so someone gave me a cross refference to the new code.
Sorry, I think I ranted there a bit.
short version - should be easy to get but it won't be in stock in the UK but still easy available no matter which Mopar it is. (even if suppliers tell you its not available for a C body

)

You know I would try Rodleys first. It is just the sort of part they are good at keeping in stock.
