another round plastic slider looks similar to the blue one but ( white -ish in colour) it is a push snap fit on the metal ball socket .

Craig, I need 1 of those too, just not got round to asking yet. It’s been a couple of months since I refurb’d my rear winder mechanism. The 1 on the RHS of my car is ok, the 1 on the LHS is broken/chewed similar to yours :(

Can’t remember what connects to what, I think the ball connects to a socket on the rear of the window glass and the ‘pulley’ goes into a slider on the winder mechanism, but it could be other way round!! :?

Also, I’m not quite sure exactly what it does, I removed my broken 1 from the car and the window winds down and up perfectly!! I think it’s just a ‘steady’ for the rear of the glass

If I remember tonight I’ll take a look in the manual to see if there’s any useful diagrams I can scan :)

If you do find a source for these gizmo’s I’d appreciate you letting me know as I’d like to replace mine just for completeness if nothing else, cheers ;)

if enough people want these i could make some but it would not be economical just to make a small quantity(but if anyone is desperate i can do a couple)

I think you can buy new ones in the states but i bet they would be really expensive.

If you think you could make some we should start a list to see who whants some?

this electricary stuff is ok till it goes wrong  you cant beat doing it by hand (cue the smutty remarks).
if you have one as a pattern i can quote on making some but might not be as cheap as the american made ones (but they will be of better quality (guaranteed)

Nothing, I think its similar to a "who's got the biggest willy competition". Leccy windows are rare, and on a RR, well rare I would imagine. A nice option to have :D :D

this is the extract from the manual, the rear track is positioned over the slide in rear slot of glass lower frame and sleeve nuts are inserted into the openings in the inner panel

took a pic last night ... it's actually the bit that the ball connects into that's broken on mine ...
