It was me a pipe from the Gearbox cooler split dumping its contents all over the road. The nice policeman stopped to see if we were ok.

Just found a huge mouse nest in my cold air vent (drivers side 69 Charger) when I went out to start her today. I took the vent off and cleaned out as far as my fingers could reach. So my sway bar bushes have rotted away, so got myself some new ones removed the sway bar went to fit them and the new ones don't fit over the loops on the end and have been told I have to grind open the metal holders and weld them up again with the new rubber fitted. Starter motor

So went out to start my Charger this morning and the starter motor spins but does not turn the engine! Any ideas before I start ripping off headers and other parts to get to it? :(

Thank you for all your replies gives me a bit to think about. Was speaking to a old rodder who is in his 70s and he said don't waste your time wrapping them make some head shields to stop the heat rising and boiling off the fuel in the line. I'll let you know what I decide on.

Wrapping manifolds?

Thinking about wrapping my manifolds on my Chargers 383 to try and stop heat build up boiling off my fuel in traffic and stopping her restarting after a long run, but have heard horror stories of manifolds cracking, gaskets melting and the wrap catching fire!! Would love to hear any advise you all ...
