Got myself another project, 1977 RV Camper based on Dodge B300 chassis cab. I could not resist it with a 440 and torqueflight transmission. Loads of work to do on RV side and just general service stuff on engine, its only done 77k and nice good oil pressure, sounds real mean for a camper ...

You got a name or website link to your neighbour brake refurbing company ?

As even with postage, they might work out cheaper than Pastparts, last time I asked them about a Jaguar caliper, I think they quoted £125 per unit.

I have a couple of Merc rear calipers I need sorting.

Have used these guys before for British cars and they do a very good job of rebuild anything to do with brakes, not sure if they cover USA stuff, but might be worth asking them.

Nice company based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. They are well known in British Classic Car mags etc.

But 2 post lift not so easy for drive on storage of a car and you can just put the 4 post lift up in the air and drive under or buy a second set of ramps and drive over lift and off the other end.

I think one of each would you best way to go.

Finally something on my doorstep, will see if I can get the Charger there.

I bought a four post ramp lift from ebay a couple of years ago, been very pleased with it. Cost about £2100 delivered and assembled. Cannot find company I got it from, but looks very simular to this one.

I while ago, when I was feeling more flush, I bought a new Tic-Toc-Tach for the Charger. Its the one option the original owner did not spec, well that and the Hemi unfortunately !!

Or you could think about a small petrol generator ? a lot on ebay, but not to small, as same thing applies about startup surges, but you do have to worry about batteries. or the wife !!

You will need a much bigger one, it is the startup surge with electric motors that takes out inverters, a 700 watt inverter would be fine for powering a laptop or something electronic, not motors that have spikes of load on start.

We have a 1200 watt continuous, that handles 2400 watt surge for ...

I still think this is one of my favorite pictures, just the right amount of car and girl and a pair of cutoff denims with boots will always do it for me.

I notice you did not drop the steering column, like everybody says you need to, is it possible to get rally dash in and out with out doing that ?
