Thanks Pete. I've been trying to decode the build sheet, everyone I find online ain't helping me any. Has anyone got a link for a 1967 Decoder. Under engine 37-38 is the numerals 61 and under engine in the build codes it has the numerals 400 ? Would like to decode the whole sheet though !

Got my one owner car on road at last !!! Passed its mot last nite after a long journey getting the front geometry right. Car drives like new. It's a pleasure to cruise in with the unmarked glass and the ice cold air con keeping ya cool. Don't think I'm gonna put the 470ci in it now as the original ...

The car was a 49 P15, couldn't get together on a deal without the motor, was thinking of putting my 470 stroker in it instead of the Coronet. Best deal on the table is to buy it with the motor at the mo. We'll see how it goes.

Also this 426 is supposed to have been stroked to around 465 at a cost of $15k ! So not sure wether to keep the 426 or fit the 400 ? Hate having choices as it confuses the ...

This is interesting to me as I've got my 67 Coronet with a 383 and 727 in place, ive also got my 470ci 400 block which I'm thinking of getting fitted to the car, do I get the existing box rebuilt to take the additional power of the 470 or wait until a built unit comes up for sale on the market ?

Got car now, put some spare wheels with 26" tyres on it to drive it down to workshop to have some minor welding attended too. Front geometery is well out, apart from that the motor, tranny and axle were whisper quiet. Cars booked in for a respray in original yellow while I'm on hols in a couple of ...
