Front Discs - Valiant

Does anyone know if the front Discs are different in the Valiant VF/VG compared to the US Dart? I assume the rear drums are identical but the front possibly different due to the RHD variations.

Thanks

Engine from Glasgow to Doncaster

Hello.

I need an engine and transmission parts transported from Glasgow to Doncaster.

I can rent a van for this, but I don't have an engine hoist. I'm looking for recommendations on a pallet and transport service, or advice on lifting the engine into a rental van without a hoist - as it's ...

Re: Brake Drums Valiant VF / 69 Dart

Magic. Thanks Dave for all the info. I'll take some time tomorrow to go though it all.

It is only the rear drums. The front are discs upgrade and I was forgetting that they were not standard.

Brake Drums Valiant VF / 69 Dart

Reaching out for some help here with ordering the correct brake components for my VF. @Dave?!!!
Cylinder ceased and pads, etc require replacement.

Following recommendations I'm looking at RockAuto for parts. But there are a plethora of options, and from expertise here I'm aware I need to know what ...

Wiring loom / harness

Time to replace my wiring so my investment doesn't go up in flames on first start! [-o<

My plan is to get a mopar wiring loom / harness kit. I have an auto electrician who can fit it for me.

3 inch drums!? I guess these must have been upgraded as the fronts are disc, which I think were not standard either.

Front suspension kit - VF

Hello all.

I need to have my front suspension and steering rebuilt on my VF Valiant. There is a bunch of worn-out kit to replace.

I recall a custom adjustable kit for the VF/VG that allowed the front set-up to be installed with relative ease (i.e. without lifting block or dismantling around). I ...

Re: Some valiants for sale

Hi Pete. Thanks for sharing your situation & revelation. No doubt difficult but respect to you - how many of us have cringed when we've seen a car parked up and rotting and the owner says "I'm going to restore it one day" - but never does! What vehicle/s have you decided to keep and focus on, if any ...

I take it these are all pictures from past banger racing events? So most of these vehicles have long been crushed!

Re: Service manual for sale

How relevant do you think it is for the VF/VG series? I now have a few decent independent manuals covering v8 and slant 6, but not a factory one.
