Not a thing of beauty, but it’ll do the job.

Obviously didn’t want it rattling, so nipped to Hobbycraft and picked up this self adhesive backed felt to line it with.

Simple in principle, but a bit of a ballache as it wants to stick to everything and is quite stretchy, but got there in the end.

Did a bit of glove box-ery just before it went to Jim’s.

The ignition is now under the dash, so the standard glove box wouldn’t fit. Fed up of chasing my shades round the floor, but also fed up of flimsy board glove boxes, I made templates and set about using some thin ali sheet to make a new one ...

Back from Jim’s, he’s done a great job in double quick time!

Had ali heads and manifold, new rocker gear, plus a higher stall converter that I wanted to get done before Dragstalgia, so decided to call in the cavalry so I knew it would be done in time with no issues.

Over to Jim’s and a few days ...

Been with Flux for a couple of years, ended up with three vehicles with them, which they have proceeded to bang up at an alarming rate.

Just had a renewal quote with yet another increase in from them and they will be getting a phone call to say no very shortly…
