Automatic PistolGrip

Post by Anonymous »

I am in the process of gutting my Challengers inrterior and desperately want to get rid of that tacky, rattly console. I really fancy a kinky pistolgrip shifter but at the same time want to keep an autobox. I hatched a plan to buy a trigger-less aftermarket shifter (up & forward), strip it, and somehow ummm... :? tack the pistol grip on instead of the standard lever. Still I want a proper job so... any suggestions ?

I think you need a gunslinger shifter - looks like an old 4 speed, acts like an auto shift - check Moparts site out.

Knowing your luck it will probably look like an auto shifter and act like a 4 speed shifter; if you have had the latter then you will get the joke ;)

Steve (AllKiller) has one in his Cuda. I covet it

I will be getting one thats for sure. Just type in "Gunslinger" into google and the site will come up.

Not the cheapest things in the world but they do look good IMHO :D
