Outdoor Car Cover

Post by JustinMFox »

Anyone recommend a company that supplies a good outdoor car cover? Preferably one that will not tear the paint to shreds as i've heard some horror stories in the past, cheers

Nope, have Covercraft got a website? This will only be temporary if I do it, I don't really like leaving classics out

You ever hear of Google?

Or tried maybe typing covercraft.com in the address bar, getting the main US website and then finding the website of their UK/European distributor?

Non of the above?

OK I did it for you. http://www.covercraft-europe.com/

But I draw the line at wiping noses and bottoms. ;)

There was a discount offer on car covers in the last Connected which sounded very good.
Charger sized outdoor cover that normally retails at £127 reduced to £73 for club members.
Grab your club mag and read all about it ;)

You bought a car then or is this a bit of advance planning?

Still looking, best to plan in advance as the garage situation is still an issue, these are a good company, they did a cover for my old black Mustang

Might be handy for me soon- hoping to move soon and the place we're after has a 'potential' multi-car garage/ workshop..... i.e. a soggy windswept field.
No-one will believe you...

You need to buy the car first otherwise a custom fit cover isn't going to.

I've had two off these guys, a "Noah" cover and a "Weathershield" one. The Noah one, although cheaper, is far better in my opinion due to the heavier, softer material. The Weathershield is like covering yer car in a shellsuit...

Anyone know what the rules are with parking permits and car covers? They told me once that cars with covers are exempt from permits but I just can't believe that somehow, otherwise everyone would get a cover wouldn't they to avoid paying for a permit
