If your after a good A body? i will throw in a good cover on the deal

can you not just make a car port? if you have a drive?

you need permission to park on a road you pay tax to use? and they say it's bad oop North......

In the resticted areas here a residents permit costs about £300 a year to park on the road

I'm glad I've got room for 10

£20 a year to park outside my own house.

Mainly because I live a couple of streets away from the countries main I.R.& Customs/Benifits etc etc ministry buildings. They employ tens of thousands of people and guess where they would park if they could?

So all the surrounding streets have permit parking so people can actually park outside their own house. It is a bummer but what can you do?

Interesting question about permits and car covers. I would guess you would need to display the permit somehow to stop getting a parking ticket.

That's appalling, having to pay to park on the road you already pay tax for...I'm with Latil, parking for ten and no restrictions, the only problem is that I can't jump on the bus and go to the Covent Garden opera...but I manage to struggle by...

I've sent them an Email so i'll see what they come back with, if you do need to display one I hope it's a window on the outside or something, the last thing I want is an inspector to start poking around taking the cover off to find a permit

You should be fine i think just get the Carcover people to stitch a waterproof pocket on the screen area of the cover for the permit and that will be fine i bet.
I can not park outside my house(double yellow) yet it does not stop hordes of dissabled from doing so!(who dont look it to me)if it is not safe to park there then surley they should not be allowed?
I have the chance to buy some land from my Neighbour who has a big yard.He will sell me enough so that i can get a decent drive at the side of my end terrace house,it should be fun seeing if i can get planning permission for it? i bet they dont allow it

anyone here know a bit about planning?

So if your cover is big enough to cover your reg plates and is secured 'to prevent it being stolen', where will they send the ticket???

I've asked 3 wardens in the last few days and they have no idea on the subject, the woman said maybe just display the permit on the top, but then what about the tax disc? I went in the parking shop once as well and they have no clue
