Wheel Size Advice
I will be ordering some Centrelines Auto Drag wheels today hopefully, now I am going to go 15 X 10 on the back and 15 X 8 on the front, will this be too big? I'm not clued up on offset and backspacing etc so what do I need to do to find out about that? 1968 Charger, i'm sure the guy at Webster Engineering will know but I thought I would do some research before ringing, thanks

No it's not tubbed, I know I always refer to Alan Rush's car but that's how I want the wheels to look on it, i'm not sure what size he has though, perhaps I should go smaller, maybe 15 X 9 on rear, 15 X 7 on front? Thoughts please, on the black Mustang I had 15 X 7 all round but that was a smaller car obviously
In which case, I'd say 10 x 15s will almost certainly rub the arches, even with a big offset.
Mine are 8.5 x 15s with a 4.25" offset and 275 x 60 tyres and they fill up the arches quite nicely...what's more don't rub under any circumstances.
There have been loads of threads on wheel and tyre sizes in the past, so a trawl through the archive, should help out.

I bought the blue 1968 that was on Ebay, went to view it and really loved it, collecting tomorrow, I have bought some American Racing Outlaw 1's to fit tomorrow and will probably paint the vinyl black, if the vinyl paint doesn't come out that good I will just remove the vinyl and do the top blue

Hope they worked
10x15's will go on easily with the right offset and tyres those rear arches are huge, admittedly these are 8" rims but the 295/50/15s fit easily and I have loads of room between the tyre and spring, just measure carefully, or better yet try some before you buy, I think 4.5" or 5" backspace is what you'll need
I like the white top
but I know it would be a bugger to keep clean

I like the white top

Anyone know where I can get the correct vinyl paint? Or the name of the product? And most importantly if it's done properly does it look ok?
