I think with mine, you do get a sense of being 'closer' to the engine if you know what I mean, but no real engine vibration to speak of. I do however get a wee bit of resonance particularly through the dash/bulkhead area at 70ish. So I ran it to 70/80/90 through the gears with the prop out. No vibration whatsoever. Twisted prop round, and almost gone now at 70.

Any chance that the transmission geometry may have changed slightly?

How? I guess the engine is balanced well, it is lumoy at idle but the car does not shake, there is a hint of res at certain rpm's but I have had that with rubbers as well...

I drive enough different cars to get a feel and generally solids are pretty close to rubber apart from specific res, makes the lock rods rattle as a rule LOL

OK,here's the Update.
Fitted the stock rubber mounts.
Fitted the TTI headers(thanks Jim)
Cut section out of kickdown belcrank & rewelded.
Rerouted 727 cooler lines.
Cut back & rewelded exhaust downpipes to suit new headers.
Starter motor was a PITA.

All in all,the car now drives as it did with the other 440,also still got some of me teeth left :D

Just got the torque strap from schmaker,so will take it easy till I fit it.
