Tyre sizes

Anyone got any idea how to work out the overall height of a wheel & tyre from the tyre size??

((Tyre width x 0.profile) x 2) + wheel dia.

ie, 275/60R15s would be:

((275 x 0.6) x 2) +15" =

330mm + 15" =

about 28 1/2" (1 inch = 24.2 mm)

Just noticed this James..... since when has 1" = 24.2mm ?

I dunno, kids of today...

It's 25.4 by the way
