When the 500 goes in the Cuda the Hood is not going to shut
so......
1. leave it off

2. get a remodelled glass one with taller snorkels and centre to clear

3. go with a different hood set up altogether

4 what do you suggest ??

BIG Shaker - be different!!!

Failing that then cowl induction or the 6 pac hood as fitted to the S&M cars.

i love the look of a proper scoop but it would look good with a similar hood to what you have but raised, that would be unique and not too in your face.

I was thinking, more AAR scoop only higher in the centre, and body colour of course. ;)

Now who does just the scoop and why did i sell Tony my flat hood :?

Slam the hood down over the engine, it will create its own "power bulge"!
:drwho:

Seriously, I reckon a cowel is the way forward, as long as it doesn't look too "home-made". :)

I am with the cowl hood too. I get a bit bored of seeing the same six pack hoods on every other car. Almost as bad as seeing yet another General Lee copy.

...and the perfect picture to match the post.

Was that fluke Dave or did you PhotoShop it? ;)

I'd have two big polished velocity stacks poking through a flat hood, but that's me... :sign6:

I knew I had that one someplace but I wrote it before I found the photo. :D

Are the Mr Gasket chrome intakes out of fashion now? Is that a bit too redneck?

Cowl (one of the non-GM ones like on Dave's photo), or how about an early '70s SS scoop? (raised bit then a small scoop on top).
