theres nothing wrong with the mustang.

By the way i am interested in proper muscle cars (68 coronet R/T).

I'm just saying the GL look isn't for me that's all. I wouldn't turn one into a lookylikey. But Adrian you do what you want to do with your car you bought it.

thing is... you've gone to the major expense of buying a highly desirable classic car and you go and paint it like a tacky kids show from the 70's
still it makes mine thats not done that way a bit more exclusive

Your right Jon, it is a little tacky but i think thats part of the fun of it all.
some people like them and others dont. But the general public seem to love them and isnt part or owning a classic trying to get attention from others and weather you like GL's or not Adrian's is certanly getting a lot of that attention on this thread.

So why does the mere mention of a General Lee get so many guys on here so fired up with negative emotion......I just don't understand it.......There have been many threads on here re the same subject and some guys just seem to get more wound up each time.

personally I just love orange cars......even ordered me a new car for March that's dog knob orange.

...Sane or stupid ...who cares.
