Oil pressure gauge sender

Post by Ivor »

Crikey! Just logged onto the Year One site to order an oil gauge sender for me Runner and nearly fell off the chair...93 bucks!

Anyone know where I can get an oil pressure sender for a 70 Runner at the right sort of money?

I don't really want to keep the Sun oil and ammeter gauges bolted under the dash, when with a bit of tinkering, I can get the ones in the dash working. :)
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

My mechanical gauge is hooked up to an Autometer T piece that also mounts the oil light switch, ?12.

I got a replacement for mine at Rodley Motors. Arrived next day. Can't remember the price but it was not much.

Close Kev but no cigar (or a J if you prefer  ), I checked the oil light version and it's only about 10 bucks, it's the gauge version that's an arm and a leg, looks like I'll have to follow Dave's advice and give Rodley's a call :)
