a 440 is raised block right?

i've got an awful feeling that i've shipped the wrong electronic conversion over from summit racing.
i ordered a B engine one but after reading this and that i think i should have got the RB one for my 440. 8-[
can someone please let me know.

Yep, B is 383/400, RB is 426/440. You can buy an adaptor to convert a 440 to 383 use, but I think you're scuppered as the shaft ain't long enough to reach the drive.

thanks kev, i guess its a length thing, where might i get an adapter? in the uk? if not i think i'll sell this one on the board and get the right one.

No 383 to 440 adaptor, only the other way sorry :cry:
