Saw these on a show on Discovery Real Time Wrecks to Riches.
Just wondering if anyone had used them or had an opinion on what they thought.
They save a lot of weight apparently, I'm a sucker for stuff I see on the telly.

Why spend a couple of thousand dollars on stuff you don't need?
Fit hemi suspension all round, beefy front and rear sway bars, weld in frame connectors, decent shocks, and good tyres. It will drive great like that.
Don't jump on the coil conversion bandwagon. Torsion bar front suspension is far superior and there is less unspring weight. A few pounds saved on sprung weight on a two ton car is not as important IMO.
It is a shame my car is not on the road otherwise I would let you see how well it corners. But you are welcome to pop around to my place and have a look at how mine is put together.

Yep, the Magnum Farce kit has a very poor reputation in Mopar circles, as Dave Say's it puts all the suspension load on shock towers that were never designed to take it, the fit is often poor, sometimes it's very hard to get the alignment right after wards, and their customer service goes something along the lines of "It's yours now you make it work". This is the one kit everyone seems to know about, is the most expensive, and has almost the worst rep among those that have used it. As Dave also points out, there is no real reason to fit this style of kit to anything other than a big block A body or a drag car. The kit to use is this one,

It is safe, it works, it has great back up and I've never heard a bad word said against it. I looked long and hard a couple of years ago at these kits before I decided which one to buy, and believe me the sexiest looking kits are the worst! Bill knows his stuff and has properly tested and logged all the alignment specs and is happy to share it all with you before you buy, you will not get that from the other companies

Like I said there's not that much to do, the car is solid and a new lick of paint and new wheels and tyres it'll look sensational. The guy who's doing the paint has had several centrefold cars in Custom Car and other mags. I've seen his work and it's amazing. I have to admit I'm very excited, I'm selling my GT40 just to pay for it all.

Turned the beast around today and me and my mate Pete set about stripping the rear end of stuff before the car goes away to paint. Need to leave it running for 'ease' of movement.
The boot was still full of all the misc bits and bobs from previous adventures.
It's getting there, I'm motivated now I have a rough date for it going away. Progress is a good thing.
