Orange box

Post by BrianNeary »

Hi chaps, you have probably been asked this a million times before.
I have a orange box ignition module which is 4 pin, the standard module on my satellite is a 5 pin. Can i modify the wiring to fit the 4 pin connector, or have i gone and ordered the wrong part?
Shiney is nice, but matt black is where its at!

One pin is just an earth and if I remember right (and I can check at home if you want) you don't need to modify anything. Just make sure the orange box is well earthed to the bodywork.

Here is a diagram. The green wire is the pin you don't need and I assume it is that one you are worried about?
