monoleaf uprising

Post by Anonymous »

well finally managed to devote some time to a few jobs that have been waiting. Fitted the monoleafs (1" over stock) to raise the rear a little, as it needed a bit more height to clear the new wheel/tyre combo when the car is fully loaded with stuff. Rear has risen about 2" from where it was with the old (and original springs). Plenty of space there now :) Quite pleased with the result, but haven`t been out on the road yet to feel the difference though.

just as soon as a dry weekend day happens up here, I`ll take it out for a run to see how it feels. It`s been damp and miserable at weekends for what seems like ages, then you go back to work and the sun comes out

I`ve made some small adjustments to front end height as well, so should feel a bit different I guess.

actually Steve, the monos` are surprisingly heavy and there won`t be a lot of weight saving (if any). Report to follow soon ;)
