Anyone got any ideas why the drivers side rear wheel protrudes 1/4 to 1/2 " further out than the pass rear wheel,or is this down to Mopar build quality
Only noticed as I've fitted new wheels with much less offset (back space),I realise they differ in the fore & after, as when I had big ballons on it, the pass side was closer to the front of the rear arch than the drivers side.

That's fine when you've got a standard set up,but if you have rims that sit pretty flush with the rear arch, then you have a problem.
I'll have to space the pass wheel out, don't like to,but if it's only for road use (not track) then not so bad.

Maybe a set of green bearings will sort the problem.

This was discussed at length a while back, the green bearings will centre the wheels but IIRC they aren't recommended for cars that go round corners a lot

I have the same "fore and aft" problem with the Sox; causing problems with the slicks. I think it is poor build quality from the factory....

I could understand if it were the adj side protruding more, bit it's the drivers side.
