You'll need an adaptor to go on the Holley throttle linkage for a start.

Or one of those fancy Lokar kickdown cables that Wil sells.

you will probably find that there is a height difference with a new carb/manifold compared to the original. I replaced my original 2bbl linkage which had been badly botched to work with an Edelbrock 4bbl, and put a Lokar cable on. Pretty straightforward swap. You may need a high rise cable bracket as well, or one that bolts direct to the carb.
