just checkd your link , yes thats the stuff, i havnt found anything better yet (but i will keep looking) i used to swear by autoglym but its 20 year old technology , the maguires is modern stuff (maybe your fentons wont like it :lol: )

I use Briliant polish on the V-Rod ally. Not messy like autosol and comes in different types

I was cruising that site just before you posted. Some interesting claims for some of the stuff on there. I'm old school in that unless you have blisters on blackened thumbs when you've finished you didn't try hard enough :D I will give the Meguiars a go as I need some leather cleaner/feeder and some car wash so I'll order the lot in one go. Interesting that everyone has their own favourite metal polish! The lure of the "shiny things"! A right blokes thang! 8-) 8-) 8-) :thumbright:

Good to see it's still about,there was a UK dealer,the tube of ally polish I have must be 30 years old now. Still does the job. :thumbright:

I used Autosol for years and spent years cleaning my hands after using it . Then spotted this Briliant stuff at the NEC Bike show got two bottles with discount and was very pleased with it. Its liquid and goes a long way after its on a cloth. I think we all tend to stick to what we find works untill someone shows you a better product.

How about we all take our fav product to the Nats and compare how they perform. :P

Oh by the way strange is 8-)

That Maguires Speed detailer is the dangleys , best stuff out there.
