Wide Steel wheels

Post by kev73dart »

Does anyone have a set of wide steel wheels, 4.5 inch PCD for sale?

I guess I can't go wider than 7inch but might get 8's in with the right offset

Not sure what are on it now but 215/70's look oversized!!

I have ordered some alloys but so many people tell me the black steels look cool that I have to look at all options.

Cheers, Kev

8-) I like black steels. I am keeping the steels on the Duster black with new chrome nuts in the centre caps and not using the trim rings.

You won't get an 8" rim and tyre in there with a "standard" offset, to stand any chance you'd have to get some made with a suitable backspace and even then it will be tight with the car that low and the springs in the stock location, there's very little space. Check out some tyre sizes and get the tape measure out and you'll see what I mean.

Steelies

Hi Steelie fans,

8x15inch Steelies will only go on 68 up B-bods with 235's on da front!

7x15inch Steelies are easier to find, BUT not recommended for A-bods.

I reckon 6.5x15 is your best option!!!

Best to borrow some first wif diferring size tyres to find da best 4 you!

Do you know what the offset needs to be?
