Challenger dash top replacement

Post by Anonymous »

The dash top in my challenger is starting to look like a bike rack. I have a much better one that I kept from my scrapper that I want to fit, but don't know if it can be done without removing the windscreen, which I don't want to do. Has anyone done this? Can it be done?

You not a member of my Challenger message board? [-X

Well there are a few Mopars where you do have to remove the glass. But the Challenger isn't one of them.

With the right tools you can get to the screws on the top OK. They are in the vents if i remember right?

I have to remove my dash very soon. Nothing wrong with it but I am re-wiring and there is rust and corrosive dry power from an extinguisher behind there.

Thanks Dave, weather permitting I'll get going on that tomorrow.

I have tried joining you message board a few times, but have probs with my email addresses. Must try harder. :)

Some of the really bad ISPs will dump or block the automatic registration link as spam when it is sent to you without you knowing.

I did that on my Challenger a few years ago. It's a bit tricky but it all comes out OK.

Hi Mike, hope your well. Yes thats Stu's old car, I've been taking advantage of the exchange rate since I bought it. (cant believe its been over a year already.) I'll get round to putting it in the members cars section soon, then you can see exactly what I've been up to. Dan
