Brake light switch

is the main brake(not park brake) light switch metal or plastic?

Craig , it's plastic mate, goes into the steel bracket fitted to the brake peddle assembly.

Tried a plastic one but the thread rubbed off straight away.

will try a differnt sort.

Its plastic, with a snap-fit clip. Dunno where your thread type switch :?

Switch snaps into bracket,bracket is bolted on and moves to adjust.

Had no switch to start with, brought a plastick one with a snap on thread thing but it broke.
Got a sturdy metal one today with a thread all round.

works a treat.
