car spray painter

hey ppl,

i need to get my car resprayed.
could anyone give me an indication of costs?
The bodywork is all good, no filler.
Just needs to be stripped, sanded & ofcourse painted.
(outside & enginebay)
I have no idea of what amount to think of, 2k or 5k?

seems i already asked this question before.

better try to find a good sprayer in the east midlands area to judge the work involved.

That's a sign of age Mac...just in case I didn't answer your first post, which would probabaly have mentioned, make sure you get a personal recommendation..the industry average for repainting a complete car, that does not include any body repair, accident or rust damage is 80 hours.

So if your painter is charging say 40 quid an hour, it'll cost you about £3,200.

thats a good reference to work to
I wouldnt just go to "a" garage, no worries.
I would always want to see work, preferably on a muscle car. and recommendations from ppl of the board would be welcome.
