Probably a bit late now, Phil, Steve, Si,
I can`t take the Charger, the manifolds blowing, it sounds a bit like a tractor, a real bad ticking sound thats bugging the life out of me,
So i`m sleeping with the enemy, i`ll be traveling in a Corvette
So i`ll go straight there and catch you all hopefully during the day.

Well,I went with the boys and WillDatsun. Not a bad little show apart from the fact signposting is non existent until 1/2 mile from the site
Lost about 1/3 of my oil going there through l/h rocker cover gasket, the one I changed this morning because the cork one had finally started to leak. My boys took a few photos and we met a few people but,Clivey, where were you?

Well, chaps, firstly, I appologise for not coming along. Pretty embarrassed and pee'd off I didnt make it but it was a last minute decision.
I had a phone call from a good freind late on Saturday night, asking for an hours help to get a water supply up n running to a livestock trough out in the middle of nowhere. I was picked up at 8 on Sunday morning. The intention was to be home by 10, leave for show at 10:30, leave show at about 3 and go to parents to be there in Crystal palace for 5 (it was my mums birthday yesterday).
Well, I spoke to Scott at 10:30 and I was standing in the middle of a 30 acre field watching a trench being filled in by a 360 excavator after I remaired a pipe that had been damaged. Having found a gate post that had water peeing up from the base after the water was turned on, we had to find another break and repair that. The water had to be on that morning (long story). Anyway, I got home at 12:30, soaked and covered in clay. I realised that I couldnt go to guildford and get back to my mums in time. So, I had to drop Guildford.
As I say, I feel bad. I asked you guys to go and you did, and I promised the organiser Conal, I would be there. You all showed, and I didnt. However, There isnt much I wouldnt drop, if a freind was in need of my help, and this freind, owns the farm where my charger will be kept and he is building me a fully covered garage to put it in. He had to come first.
Nonetheless, I appologise to everyone I was pestering to go.
