did someone mention core plugs, after i had my engine rebuilt it went through 4 sets of core plugs until i replaced them with brass ones( i even had a metalergist?) analise them to find out why, but found nothing)

Yep. Core plugs. I only did mine once and they lasted 7 years though. maybe because steel plugs I always coat the back of them with sealer.

dont forget to put copper slip on the bolts when you put them back!!!!!!!!!
