insulation under headliner

Should i glue some sort of soundproofing or insulation type stuff to the inside of my roof before fitting the headling or not bother?

whats the best stuff to use?

Whatever you use , make damn sure it is fixed/glued properly , cos when the sun gets to it , it'll peel off & bulge yer headlining , don't wanna take that out too many times.

I ended up using Dynamat , got it everywhere , added around 1/2 a ton in weight.
