Thread size for lower shock mount A body

Can anyone tell me what thread this is, I need to cut a new thread. Pretty urgent as I am borrowing tools from the workshop today, where I work.

As a rule of thumb.

If it screws into something - UNC.

If it has a nut (a real nut not a clip or something) on it - UNF.

Not always the case of course but in general you will find that correct.

Thanks chaps, will note. Unfortunately workshop did'nt have UNF/UNC, but did allow me to use their milling machine and carry off a tap and die set to sort out my spring hanger brackets!
Which i've done :thumbright:

As far as I remember lower shock mount 1/2" unf / U bolts 1/2" unf / uppershock mounts 1/2" unf front spring hanger studs 3/8"unc spring eye nut 5/8unf(I think) rear shackle nuts 3/8" unc no metric threads were used unless someone has done a bodge

Might be a bodge yet, John, one side shock has aboy 2 to 3 threads left :?
