I didnt Steve, but only because there was nowhere to spray the car. I had to do the job outside, which is why i enjoyed having 2 weeks off during the Easter heatwave!
From what i've read, spraying the stuff gives good results, definately worth considering for the future though.

Hey, I've started this on my Duster. How long did you leave between coat's? And after the second coat how long before you wet sanded it? And with what grade of paper initially?

Andy, did you reaf the link I posted. Basically, there are 50=pages on this topic on various sites.
But, in brief. paint once and leave it for the day. Two coats then rub down with 1000 grit. Do NOT overload the roller with paint or you will be rubbing it down for weeks.
The essential thing is-loght, even coats, rub down smooth.
Repaeta6-10 times (coats) and then finish with 1000, 1200 and fiish with 1500.
You MUST be patient! The finish is in the sanding. Mine is fairly uneven, but i spent 15mins the other evening rubbing down with 2000 and polishing. I got a mirror finish in that area.

I got to page 7 and lost heart in reading the next 40 odd pages!

I left the paint for about 7 hours and went back over the rear quarter again. It started to blister in places as I guess overnight is the best bet. I noticed the guy who got that thread rolling applied a couple of coats in a day, he must have left it longer than me! Anyway Ive got a coat on the front fenders and the rear quarter so I'll go ove it again tomorrow. Did you pull all the chrome and trim off?

Its worth doing a full read of the article.Otherwise, tepmtation is to roll on thick and regret at leisure.
Main tip, roll on, wait a couple of minutes and roll a clean roller over the paint with NO pressur to eradicate thebubbles. failure to do this means yu will have a mess.
Still worth a go especially as you can go back over sections at a later date.
Oh yeh, remove what you can and mask the rest.Then spend a lot of time with solvents and wire wool cleaning trim
